Badger Pass Season Pass

Unlimited skiing all season, plus discounts on accommodations and bring-a-friend tickets. The season pass pays for itself in roughly three visits.

What the season pass includes

★ Heads up — short season

Badger Pass typically operates from mid-December through late March, conditions permitting. There's no snowmaking — the resort relies entirely on natural snowpack. The 2024-25 season was canceled due to insufficient snow. Factor this into the value calculation: passes pay off fast in big snow years and not at all in drought years.

Is it worth it?

The break-even math is straightforward. At $79 per adult day pass, the season pass pays off in roughly three full-day visits. If you live in the Bay Area, Sacramento, or Fresno and plan to make Yosemite a regular winter destination, it's a no-brainer.

If you're a one-trip-per-season skier, stick with day passes.
