Half-day snowshoe rental
Same snowshoes as the all-day rental, picked up after 12:30 PM and returned by close. Best value if you're doing a short hike or combining snowshoeing with another activity.

Recommended half-day routes
- Summit Meadow out-and-back (3 miles total) — gentle, scenic, plenty of time for photos and lunch
- Old Glacier Point Road forest loop — short, contained, easy navigation
- First mile of any marked trail and exploration — when you're new to snowshoeing, just being out in the silent winter forest is the point. You don't need to cover huge distances.
